Certified Solaris Associate for Unix Essentials (II)

[Talking about three months ago...]

Last Monday I received a letter from Prometric, a U.S. company that has something to do with tests results and certifications, and all this kind of stuff… It was easy to know why I had received such a letter…

I’d like to say that I was looking forward to see this letter in my letter-box but that’s not true, because it’s been too much time since it should have arrived. Anyway, it was an examination result and, therefore, I opened it quickly and I peeked at it looking for my score.

There were exactly 52 questions in the test: you’re gone with half of them answered correctly! I answered 39 questions correctly, which means a 75% of success! I passed the exam, that’s great!!! By the time I took the exam, it was still a beta examen, and I realized that two questions had no correct answer… Fortunately, each question had a text box ready for user comments. That’s just the job :-)

Now I’m waiting for the postman to deliver my brand new certificate! The automatic e-mail from Sun indicates that you must allow two weeks prior to the arrival, so maybe I’ll get it in early October… It’s such a long process, but when I get the certificate I’ll reconsider taking another exam from Sun (in a positive way)!

-)

I'm waiting for something similar to this :-)

  5. Hello Tushar,

I’m afraid I didn’t use any special material other than available free lessons from SunConnection.com.
