London is an amazing city… It is the largest city in, and the capital of, the United Kingdom, with a population of more than seven million people. However, I’ll try to describe the city in a subjective way, because official numbers are easy to find on the Internet but it is difficult to imagine what a city looks like without even having been there! So, please, let me speak about the cradle of the English language!

Today I’ve woken up a 7:50 am, so the breakfast room was very crowded – I’ve had to queue for a while!. The receptionist told me the breakfast time was from 7:00 to 9:00 AM but, even though I set the alarm up at 7:00 AM, I was too sleepy at the time…

My first day in London

Everybody knows London is such an expensive city, so I decided to buy in advance some food supplies, which went straight to my suitcase! By doing this, my suitcase was 7 Kg (15.42 lb) over the 20 kilograms limit. A fee per kilogram (10.50€) for excess is charged at the airport before the departure, so I was supposed to pay 73.50€… I had no choice, but the person who was at the box office at the moment did not read carefully enough “the fee ticket” and she required me to pay only 10.50€

Hello, Goodbye

Like the song from the Beatles, we are almost saying goodbye to London, and hello to lots of other things! I’ve already spent sixteen days in London, and I’ve not visited every single place I’d be glad to see! London is, certainly,  extremely huge!
